Vienna, Virginia (April 16, 2020) – AssuredOne (www.assuredone.com), provider of online, self-guided cybersecurity assessments and cyber risk insurance, recently announced the release of the DoD Contractor Compliance Suite, a collection of products geared to streamline and simplify suite cybersecurity compliance for small and medium-sized Department of Defense contractors. The suite includes an appropriately sized assessment, compliance reports, and a zero deductible cyber risk insurance policy for businesses that qualify.
With the release of the DoD Contractor Compliance Suite, AssuredOne now offers a means for small and medium DoD contractors to comply with the DoD cybersecurity requirements in a cost-effective way. The assessment is tailored to the size of the business based on revenue and number of employees and matches the company’s potential threat level. Additionally, the suite offers both the required DFARS and the NIST SP-800-171 compliance reports. Making the AssuredOne package unique, however, is an included $250,000 cyber risk insurance policy for qualified businesses, with no deductible. This policy may, under most circumstances, be used in conjunction with other business insurance organizations may have in place.
“Small and medium sized businesses form the backbone of the US DoD contracting community,” explained Stephen M. Soble, CEO of Assured. “Complying with these changes now is a requirement, regardless of size or the nature of the good or services provided. Access to non-classified sensitive data is pervasive and the loss of data costs the DoD billions of dollars. Soon, the CMMC program will become a reality, imposing yet again another set of requirements, this time most likely with both carrot and stick elements to the new system. With Assured, DoD contractors of any size can be certain that we will keep you current with changes in regulations, forms, opportunities for cost savings and full compliance with CMMC,” Soble explained. “We soon expect to offer AssuredVPN™, a highly secure VPN for DoD contractors and their personnel who work remotely,” Soble added.
